A Trusted Copilot for the Drivers
Truckrr Hero is a driver-focused mobile app designed to simplify the lives of long-haul truck drivers the unseen backbone of India's logistics economy.
"Make every trip safer, every decision clearer and every journey more rewarding."
The Ask
An ecosystem between truck drivers and fleet owners like LinkedIn for logistics. An app supporting basic necessities such as job search, trip management, financial tracking and access to loans and insurance.

The Problem We Noticed
Fragmented systems, Daily Suffering
The operational reality for most drivers is still chaotic and uncertain. Beyond operational delays, this lack of structure takes a real toll on their dignity, safety, and quality of life on the road.
📞 Jobs via Negotiation
Finding work still required phone calls, middlemen and negotiation with no transparency or records.
🗺️ No Single Source of Truth
Trip details, loading instructions, and delivery updates were scattered across WhatsApp groups and verbal orders.
💸 Unclear Payment Status
Drivers had no visibility into when or how much they'd be paid, causing chronic financial anxiety.
🆘 No Emergency Support
Breakdowns at night, medical emergencies or accidents with no structured support system, drivers were on their own.

Some drivers opened up with deeply personal stories about life on the road. Others were mistrustful, assuming we were from a fraudulent agency. Their reactions taught us: trust must be earned, not assumed.

Designing the Experience
From Misalignment to Momentum
We mapped driver mental models into three functional hubs and produced a full draft design within 2 weeks, which was presented to stakeholders for early alignment.

After presenting the draft, we faced directional misalignment engineering feasibility issues, timeline constraints, and new requirements emerging mid-discussion.
The Challenge
Early debate stalled progress. Every meeting generated new requirements instead of decisions. We needed a way to lock direction before more design effort.
We prepared and presented User Flow Diagrams to pre-define scope, followed by an Information Architecture map to show screen content hierarchy. This gave the team a shared reference point before any further design work.
Outcome
After presenting the IA and flows, the team aligned on a focused direction. We kicked off design and development with strong clarity and collaboration enabling smooth progress throughout.



The final MVP shipped within the 6-month timeline. The app went live on the Google Play Store and achieved 1,000+ organic users in year one driven entirely by real user value, not paid acquisition.
